How chlorella supplements can improve your digestion

One of the earliest and simplest life forms on the planet, Chlorella has been around for over two billion years. It is a pure and natural whole food that utilizes sunshine which gives it its high chlorophyll content. Chlorella is a single-celled, microscopic green alga that is grown in freshwater. It is also called microalgae.

Chlorella is rich in protein, 58% and has a high chlorophyll content. Chlorella has more chlorophyll then alfalfa. It contains a vast amount of nutritional elements: vitamins (B vitamins, and also C and E), macro minerals, trace minerals, amino acids, protein, RNA and DNA, chlorophyll, Omega 3 fatty acids, phytochemicals.

The usual dosage for disease prevention is 10 grams per day, with a maintenance dose of 5 grams per day. There is no limit to the amount of Chlorella that can be taken.

It is recommended that you introduce Chlorella to your diet gradually, as it may cause mild diarrhea as the body adjust to it over a few weeks. It is important to note that the use of Chlorella will turn your stools green and is actually a good sign that you are taking the proper amount.
